Your Three Hours Jungle Trekking adventure in Bukit Lawang begins with our team picking you up from your guesthouse at 9:00 am. Then you will start by walking along the Bahorok River. You will cross a bridge and hike uphill through rubber plantations to enter Gunung Leuser National Park.
While you are in the jungle, you will have the opportunity to see semi-wild orangutans. They might be swinging through the trees with their babies. This is one of the highlights of the three hours of jungle trekking. If you are lucky, you may also see some of the monkey species that live in the Gunung Leuser National Park.
Afterwards, take a break to enjoy a refreshing tropical fruit snack. After you are done enjoying the snack, you will continue your journey to a beautiful panorama point. Here, you can see the panoramic view of the Bahorok River valley and the surrounding mountains.
Then, go deeper into the jungle during your three-hour trek. Look for opportunities to see wildlife such as Long-tailed Macaques, Pig-tailed Macaques, and Thomas Leaf Monkeys.
Next, you will also have time to relax by the river. Here, you can swim or just enjoy the beauty of nature. In the final session, the adventure ends with an exciting Jungle Taxi rafting trip down the Bahorok River. This will take you back to Bukit Lawang.
