Duration approximately 4-5 hours, depanding on the pick-up and drop-off locations. Cost typically IDR 210.000 to IDR 300.000 (EUR 13 to EUR 20) per person. Public Bus

Option 1: ALS Company (Orange Bus)

To reach Bukit Lawang, you can board the ALS bus, which departs every hour. This comfortable, orange-colored bus takes you directly to Binjai in about 2 hours and costs 40,000 IDR per person. From Binjai, transfer to a small yellow public bus heading to Tanah Lapang bus station (cost: 10,000 IDR per person). The final bus from Binjai to Bukit Lawang departs at 18:00 PM, costing 30,000 IDR per person. The journey to Bukit Lawang will take approximately 2 hours.

For a seamless experience, make sure to reserve your accommodation and tours in advance. Once you arrive at the bus stop in Bukit Lawang, we will be there to pick you up and guide you to your guest house.

Option 2: Taxi to Pinang Baris Station

Alternatively, you can take a taxi to Pinang Baris station. You may either arrange for a taxi directly from your hotel or negotiate with a local driver. The fare from Pinang Baris to Bukit Lawang is about 50,000 IDR per person, and the journey takes approximately 3 hours. Once you arrive at the Bukit Lawang bus station, we will be there to welcome you and escort you to your guest house.

Please be cautious when at the Pinang Baris or Binjai bus stations, as foreign tourists sometimes face unpleasant situations. If someone approaches you claiming they will purchase your ticket and asks for money, kindly ignore them. These individuals may attempt to charge you an additional 200,000 IDR per person. Always buy your bus ticket directly from the driver to ensure a smooth and fair transaction. Stay alert and enjoy your trip
