Start your day with breakfast before meeting your guide at 9:30 AM for an exciting adventure to see the Amorphophallus titanum (Titan Arum). Experiencing this flower in its natural habitat is a true marvel!

Your journey begins with a scenic 50-minute drive to Batu Katak, a peaceful village along the Berkail River, just 18 km from Bukit Lawang. This ecotourism site is dedicated to environmental preservation and sustainable living.

Upon arrival, you’ll hear gibbons calling, signaling the start of your trek. Cross the river and explore caves, boulders, and rubber plantations. Keep an eye out for giant flora, including the rare Amorphophallus Titanum flower. These massive flowers bloom briefly after a 9-month gestation period, and your guide will share insights into this fascinating process, particularly of the Amorphophallus Titanum.

Even if you don’t find the flowers blooming, Batu Katak offers plenty to explore, from its lush rainforest and hidden caves to a refreshing swim in the river.
