Two days Jungle Trekking

Trek Itinerary

Day 1

After breakfast, our team will pick you up at your guesthouse around 9:00 am. Then start your 2 Days Jungle Trek to Gunung Leuser National Park.

Once you enter the jungle, you will have the opportunity to see various wildlife such as Orangutan, Thomas Leaf Monkey, Long-tailed Macaque, and other wildlife if you are lucky. Enjoy learning about flora and fauna along the way. Befriending nature during this adventure will enrich your experience.

Afterwards, continue trekking to explore the jungle and stop to enjoy tropical fruit salad of the jungle.

Then continue deeper into the jungle to look around and take a break for lunch at a beautiful place. After lunch, you will walk for a few more hours to approach the camp.

When you arrive at the camp, you can swim, relax, enjoy a cup of coffee and tea, or explore the area while the guides and team set up the camp and prepare dinner made of vegetable curry, rice, and other local food.

In the evening, you will enjoy dinner with your guide and jungle chef and play games after dinner.

Day 2

Wake up and get ready for day 2. After enjoying breakfast, you can choose to either hike for about three hours or simply relax near the stunning scenery or the waterfall located near the camp. Alternatively, if you are feeling adventurous, the hike offers beautiful views of the surrounding jungle. This will complete your incredible Two Days Jungle Trekking experience.

Once you’ve finished your hike, the guide will then prepare a delicious lunch for you, allow you to recharge for the next part of your journey.

And finally, the exciting 2 Days Jungle Trek tour will culminate with an exhilarating ”Jungle Taxi” rafting ride along the Bahorok River back to Bukit Lawang.

Afterward, your guide will drop you back at your guesthouse or hotel between 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM!

Tour includes : all permits (National park & guide association), Certified English Guide, Authentic fruits snack, lunch x2 (nasi goreng or fried noodle), tea and coffee, homemade dinner x1, fresh boil water, homemade breakfast x1, camping equipment (mattress, sleeping bag, mosquito net), tubing (oversize rubber rings), rafting captain.

Tour excludes : Water on day 1.
