Three Days Jungle Trekking
Three Days Jungle Trekking is perfect for anyone who wants to fully explore the wonders of Gunung Leuser National Park. This trip gives you a better chance to spot the Flora and Fauna that call this rainforest home. You will spend 2-nights camping in the jungle, each at a unique and beautiful location. One day by the riverside and the other near a stunning waterfall. Imagine falling asleep to the soothing sounds of nature and waking up surrounded by the jungle’s incredible wildlife! On the last day, enjoy a relaxed three hours hike to the riverbank. There, you will share one last jungle lunch. To top it off, you can relax by a nearby waterfall, back to the camp. A light lunch will prepare you for your journey back to your Guesthouse or Hotel in Bukit Lawang!

Trek itinerary
Day 1
Our team will pick you up at your guesthouse or hotel around 9:00 AM. Then, start your Three Days Jungle Trekking adventure. You will walk uphill for a while to reach the forest point in Leuser National Park. After that, along the way, your guide will tell you about the animals and plants you see. You will also enjoy the stunning view of the Bahorok River valley.
Afterward, in the afternoon, stop at a beautiful spot for lunch, and served by your guide, the lunch is Nasi Goreng and fresh fruits as dessert. After lunch, the journey continues uphill to a fantastic viewpoint. Then, continue walking in the jungle. If you are lucky, you can see wildlife such as Siamang, Thomas Leaf Monkey, Squirrels, Hornbills, or even wild Orangutans!
At 3:30 PM – 4:00 PM, you will reach the camp near the river. You can swim in the river, relax with coffee or tea, and watch your chef prepare a delicious dinner. After a day of Three Days Jungle Trekking, in the evening, dinner will be served by the team. You can also enjoy the sounds of the jungle, stargazing, and playing games with the guide and team. Your jungle tent is equipped with a mattress, blanket, and pillow.
Day 2
Wake up and get ready for day 2! After breakfast, you will continue your Three Days Jungle Trekking journey deeper into the rainforest. This increases your chances of seeing wildlife. You may see Sumatran orangutan, Thomas leaf monkeys, or even rarer animals such as slow lorises, siamang, and white-handed gibbons. For lunch, your guide will prepare simple food and fruits in a beautiful jungle spot. Then, you will enjoy more trekking and amazing views. Your second camp will also be at the Bahorok River. After dinner, you can relax, play games, or listen to your guide share jungle stories around the camp.
Day 3
Start your morning with the peaceful sounds of nature. Around the camp, you may see Sumatran monitor lizards and colorful butterflies. After breakfast, you will start your Three Days Jungle Trekking trip for about three hours or relax at a nearby waterfall.

Afterwards, the guide will prepare Lunch (Noodle Soup). After lunch, finally, this exciting Three Days Jungle Trekking tour will end with an exciting Jungle Taxi rafting trip along the Bahorok River back to Bukit Lawang. After that, the tour guide will drop you back to your guesthouse or hotel.
