The 2 Days Jungle Trek is an unforgettable adventure into the heart of the rainforest! You will journey through the breathtaking Gunung Leuser National Park, where you will have the chance to spot incredible wildlife such as Orangutans, monkeys, and vibrant birds. And then, after a day of trek during your 2 days Jungle Trek, spend the night camping under a blanket of stars by the river. Lulled to sleep by the peaceful sounds of the jungle, your guides and Jungle Chef will prepare a delicious dinner!

Tour description

day 1

After breakfast, you will meet our team at your guesthouse around 9:00 am to begin your 2 Trek. Then, you will head to the entrance of Gunung Leuser National Park, where your adventure in the jungle begins.

As you venture into the jungle, keep an eye out for a variety of wildlife. This includes Orangutans, Thomas Leaf Monkeys, Long-Tailed Macaques, and more. This 2 days Jungle Trek will also teach you about the fascinating flora and fauna of this unique ecosystem.

Afterward, you will continue your 2 Days jungle trek to explore deeper into the jungle. Then, stop to enjoy a refresh tropical fruit salad. Following this, after some more trek during the 2 Days Jungle Trek, pause for lunch at a scenic spot. There, you will indulge in fresh local dishes. Once you’ve enjoyed your jungle lunch, carry on your journey for a few more hours until you finally approach your camp.

When you arrive at the camp by the river, you will have the opportunity to swim, relax, or enjoy a hot cup of coffee or tea. Meanwhile, those on the 2 Days Jungle Trek can take the time to explore the surroundings while the guides and team work together to set up camp. Then, a delicious dinner featuring vegetable curry, rice, and other local specialties will be prepared for you. After dinner, you can either play cards, relax, or share stories around the camp.

Day 2

Wake up to the sounds of the jungle, with nature all around you. After breakfast, you can choose to continue trek for about three hours or simply unwind by a nearby waterfall or stunning viewpoint. Then, a light lunch will be served before you make your way back toward Bukit Lawang.

Later on, you will enjoy a “Jungle Taxi” ride back to Bukit Lawang. There, you will be returned to your hotel after the 2 days Jungle Trek.
