Day 1: Pick-Up from Medan Airport – Transfer to Bukit Lawang
Your Bukit Lawang adventure begins with a private transfer from Medan’s Kuala Namu International Airport (KNO). Our friendly local driver will greet you and drive you through scenic landscapes, palm oil plantations, and local villages to the peaceful jungle village of Bukit Lawang.
Upon arrival, check in at our partner eco-lodge, nestled by the Bohorok River. Enjoy your free time exploring the area or relaxing at the riverside.

Day 2: Jungle Trekking in Gunung Leuser National Park + River Rafting
After breakfast, set off on a 6–7 hour jungle trekking tour with a licensed local guide. This trek takes you deep into the rainforest.
Expect to see wild orangutans, monkeys (Thomas Leaf, long-tailed macaques, gibbons), hornbills, and tropical plants. Your guide will share knowledge about the forest, its wildlife, and its importance to local culture.
After lunch in the jungle, you’ll return to Bukit Lawang in the most exciting way – traditional river tubing (rafting) down the Bohorok River!
