TREK ITENERARY

Our Team will pick you up from your Guesthouse or Hotel around 9:00 am. This begins your 1 Day Jungle Trekking walking along the river and hiking uphill through rubber plantations to reach the entrance of Gunung Leuser National Park.

Once you are inside the jungle, you have a chance to see semi-wild Orangutan. If you are lucky, you will see them hanging and swinging in the trees and caring for their baby during the 1 Day Jungle Treks.

Continue your jungle trek through the rainforest and stop for a refreshing snack of tropical fruits. Then hike to a viewpoint for stunning panoramas of the Bahorok River valley and stunning mountain views.

Enjoy the lunch in the jungle before exploring further to discover fascinating wildlife like Long Tailed Macaques, Pig Tailed Macaques, Thomas Leaf Monkeys, and Monitor Lizards. Take a break at the small stream or waterfall where you can swim and relax on your selected 1 Day Jungle Trekking.

End the trek with an exciting “Jungle Taxi” ride rafting along the Bahorok River back to Bukit Lawang. Your guides will return you to your Guesthouse or Hotel by 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm after an unforgettable 1 Day Jungle Treks experience.
