1 Day Jungle Trek

This 1 day Jungle Trek is highly recommend for families with children eager to explore the jungle. It is also ideal for travelers seeking a jungle adventure but short on time. During this 6-7 hour trek, you will have the chance to spot semi wild or wild Orangutans in their natural habitat. If you’re lucky, you may encounter other wildlife. Then You will take a break to enjoy a delicious lunch and a refreshing tropical fruit salad. Afterward, you will trek for a few more hours until reach the river. Here, you will experience the thrill of river tubing on the Bahorok River.

TREK ITINERARY

Our team will pick you up from your guesthouse or hotel around 9:00 AM. Then you will begin your 1 Day Jungle Trek adventure. The journey starts with a walk along the river, which sets the stage for an exciting day in the jungle. then, you will hike uphill through rubber plantations to reach the entrance of Gunung Leuser National Park.

Once inside the jungle, you will have the opportunity to spot semi wild Orangutan in the 1 Day Jungle Trek. If you’re lucky, you might catch a glimpse of them swing from tree to tree, occasionally accompanied by their babies.

Afterwards, continue your One Day Jungle Trek as you venture deeper into the lush rainforest. Then stop for a refreshing snack of tropical fruits, re-energizing for the next leg of your trek. Afterward, you’ll hike up to a viewpoint that offers breathtaking panoramas of the Bahorok River valley and the surrounding mountains.

During your 1 Day Jungle Trek, you’ll also enjoy a delicious lunch in the jungle. Once you finish your lunch, you will continue your 1 Day Jungle Trek to explore more of the jungle. You may encounter fascinating wildlife, including Long-Tailed Macaques, Pig-Tailed Macaques, Thomas Leaf Monkeys, and Monitor Lizards. Along the way, take a break at a tranquil stream or waterfall, where you can swim and relax in the serene surroundings.

The trek concludes with an exciting “Jungle Taxi” rafting experience along the Bahorok River, transporting you back to Bukit Lawang. By 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, your guides will return you to your guesthouse or hotel. This marks the end of your unforgettable 1 Day Jungle Trek adventure.
